While the Tata tea example is clearly around brand-storytelling, the other two - Spotify and Domino's - they seem to be more like product offering tweaks than brand-story. What am I missing? Ability to create a feature where your curation is better than other aggregators is a product improvement. Ability to deliver hot pizza fast is a product improvement. No?
Good point. I should have been clearer. Pure product focus means we try to sell the same product - I mean the mindset of "we build it, sales will follow." And ONLY focusing on product, without bringing the entire business and marketing machinery into congruence. Yes, they both tweaked the product - but 1) it was consumer preference backwards AND 2) they invested enough tech and resources to built it into a Moat. ONLY product, or ONLY communication never works out. You will be surprised to see so many businesses only focusing on one and igonoring the other.
